Vanity Fair

I'm crazy about this vanity/dressing area spotted on the Garden & Gun website. The rest of this little carriage house isn't too shabby either.

I've been dreaming about a vintage dress form to hang all of my necklaces but haven't found the perfect one to purchase for my vanity area yet.

In decorating our new house, I've noticed that I'm using a lot of red. Our bedroom, the living room the kitchen -- they all have notes of red throughout. I never thought of myself as a very redcentric person (I usually veer towards greens and blues) but I am starting to really love this potent shade. The rooms pictured above offer quite a bit of inspiration too!

Not Too Shabby

I can barely even contain my joy. I've been daydreaming about Rachel Ashwell's Shabby Chic inn in Round Top, Texas (country antique mecca) for months. Imagine my delight when I saw today that Garden & Gun posted a fabulous article and slideshow highlighting the "Haute Homestead" better known as The Prairie. I'm sure they're all booked up for Round Top this year, but I'm dying to take a look at the chic retreat in person. Road trip anyone?

Straight from Buenos Aires....

In Argentina, Polo is quite the popular sport. And why not? Cute boys, pretty horsies, and cool outfits abound in the polo world.

Cool outfits including super cool polo belts! And just brought to my attention are the ones made by F.M. Allen...thank you Garden and Gun!

This one is my fave:

But I also love the Greek Key pattern of this one!

Honestly, I'd be happy sporting any of them. Lately I've really been on a belt bender! If you're like me, be sure to browse the rest of the F.M. Allen site too....cool stuff on there, especially jackets. Classic!
