How cool is this headboard?! My neighbors are gutting their house and had just left it on the side of the road, totally neglected and forgotten. Of course, the classic bamboo is a bit Golden Girls for my taste, but that's why I'm in desperate need of advice!
I had originally thought about painting it high-gloss white, or maybe a turquoise like this.
And then get some contrasting sheets like this:

What do you guys think? Any ideas for my thrifty find?

Turquoise and white are good choices. I also recommend gold spray paint. You can always paint over it if you don't like it.
My boss suggested gold too! I may just have to give it a try. Gracias chica xo
