I spotted this gorgeous painting in the latest issue of Lonny (my obsession) and found two others from the same series on the Jardins en Fleur website. Wouldn't they be great hanging in a grouping in a chic little powder room or above a settee??

Oh Billy!

One of my new favorite artists, Billy Sullivan, paints pictures that are so real-life, but make it seem so much more beautiful. What more can you ask from an artist?? I saw these in New York Magazine ages ago and found them again. I figured many of you would appreciate. If you get a chance, check out more of his work. Here are some of my other faves:

Pottery to Die For

Caroline Reehl, an Ole Miss Art Department grad, made the most amazing collection of pottery for her thesis exhibition last fall. I had the opportunity to check it out in Meek Hall and I just fell in love with her feminine and sophisticated work.

Recently I discovered her website and I'm so glad! I love it. I'm in the process of convincing my awesome boss to get us some of her stuff for the store!

I really love all of her pieces, but these ones really stood out to me:

Such a gorgeous vase...loving those lillies!

Cruise over to her stuff when you get a minute. If you don't love what you see then you're just nuts!

N.E.R.D.y Perfection

Pharrell Williams has been a long time celebrity crush of mine for many reasons: 

1. He has the second-best style of any guy (after Paul, of course)

 2. He has the ability to literally see music. Magic powers....?

3. He is the owner of the most amaaaazing Miami penthouse apartment.

I saw this spread in Conde Nast's supplementary magazine Fashion Rocks like two years ago and I discovered what love means. Amazing views, combined with the most awesome modern, pseudo-pop-art collection make his residence a must-see.

And he used to date Jade Jagger who is a Libra and jewelry designer. I'm a Libra and work in a jewelry store which is pretty much the same thing.

Next time I'm in MIA I'll have to go knock on his door and request a tour. Surely we'll be BFF in no time. 

Lovely Wall Art

Oh Square Books! You never fail to satisfy me. Today, I picked up my paycheck and hit the square to search for something to help perk up my little house. My walls are basically barren, so first priority was some sort of artwork. However, being the have-not working girl that I am, I was on a tight budget. Alas! Square Books sells some lovely decorative paper by Cavallini & Company, which serve perfectly as chic posters! And for a mere $3.75 a piece! What a steal. I decided on the Parisian poster and floral look below (for my bedroom and kitchen, respectively). Check out their website or go into Square Books to browse for your own favs!
