Kate in Istanbul

I was so thrilled to see a huge fashion story with Kate Moss and actor Chiwetel Ejiofor in this month's Vogue. She's my all-time favorite model, and beyond that, the scenery (it was shot in Istanbul) is absolutely incredible. I couldn't resist posting a few of my favorite pictures. A New Kate in Town

Vogue just released their June cover photos and many, many more of the flawless mega model Kate Upton. So... about that gym membership?

MK & A

Have you guys seen this article about les Olsens in this month's Vogue? It's all about their fashion line, The Row, and it's a good read. And of course, the pictures are even better! Bruce Weber is a genius.

Model Behavior

Have you guys seen the photos of Jessica Stam's apartment in the latest installment of Vogue's  APT with LSD??

I can't get over the gorgeous color of her couch! The rest of the apartment isn't too shabby either.

Love the mirrors and the black and white!! Very chic.

Look at those antique doors!! I die.

A very cool mix I would say.

I always love to see the homes of models-- they all have such cool style.

Check out the full article here when you get a chance!

My Kind of Dining Room

The perfect mix! Englishy, rustic, with some contemporary elements. I wish it were mine!

Swoon

Just about died when I saw this little snapshot on Vogue.com. Those blue sequin Isabel Marant leggings are the greatest things I've ever seen!! ( I guess it doesn't hurt that Blake Lively is the one sporting them).

New Looks

As you can probably tell, I gave the old blog a little bit of a facelift! I've been feeling so drab about it lately (hence my lack of posts over the last few weeks) but now that it has a fresh coat of paint, I'll be back to the blogosphere in full-force!

Now I just need a work space like Coco's....

My Coffee Table

Since I've just moved, I'm looking for lots of stuff for my new living quarters! I really like the idea of using this coffee table from Wisteria (my fave), or something like it. There are tons of great places to shop for furniture in Little Rock so I'm excited to look around here.

And of course, with a new coffee table come new coffee table books!

These are the ones I'm jonesing for the most:

I have the other Kate books and I'd like to complete my set!

I am obsessed with the film (my mom and I call each other Big Edie and Little Edie...weird? whatevs)

duh.

Well, there you have it! Do you think Paul would agree with these choices? I've tried to introduce him to my interests (painting nails together, watching the Rachel Zoe Project over triple non-fat vanilla lattes) but none have stuck so far. Hmmmm.

What are your favorite coffee table books? Any further suggestions?

Another Reason to get the iPad

Correction: another reason I need the iPad. Aren't these Smythson of Bond Street cases that I saw on vogue.com totally all that? How much chicer could you get?! I am seriously jonesing for one of these bad boys.

Mrs. Mellen's Barn

Last year in Vogue, there was an article about Polly Mellen and her home, a fabulously refurbished barn in Connecticut. Since I read the article and feasted my eyes on the stellar photos of her stunning digs, I have become quite interesting in acquiring a barn fixer-upper myself. Check it out!

I love the mixed prints, and especially all the needlepoint pillows. Plus, aren't those exposed rafters cool?

I love how she mixes furniture styles to create a look that's totally original. And the family heirlooms.... obviously awesome additions!

This is the powder room. They're framed prints of Yves Saint Laurent's Christmas cards over a few years. Can't deal with her coolness.

Before I find a barn of my own to purchase (we're still working on paying the rent...) I figure I can get working on my Mellen-inspired look anyway. I found this couch on the New York Magazine website:

And throw in a couple of needlepoints...

Accessorize with fresh flowers:

Coffee table books like:

And of course, accented with a little guy I know named.....Biscuit.

Anyone have any leads on some available barns??
